Prior to her training as a PA, she worked in outdoor education and community outreach, working with students of diverse backgrounds to provide experiential education opportunities. Rosa believes in developing a care plan in partnership with the patient, and answering questions about health that patients may not feel comfortable asking family or friends. She is so excited to provide medical care to the students of Central High School! She enjoys hiking, reading, playing the piano and hanging out with her husband, baby and dog.

My name is Sarah Trout, I am the program coordinator here at the Warrior Wellness Center. I have been here since March 2022 and have loved being able to make all these new connections with students and staff. Helping people in any aspect has always been a passion and I absolutely love the SBHC program and what it offers. Previously I worked as an Eligibility Specialist with DHS, and a Kitchen Manager at School District 51 assisting with the Lunch Lizard program during summers. I will be graduating in May 2023 with a bachelor's degree in business HR and I look forward to using any knowledge gained from that and the other amazing team members as I make more connections and watch this clinic grow.
My name is Alyssa Mathena, I moved from St. George, Utah to Grand Junction in 2017. I graduated from Central High school in 2020. I have been working as a Medical Assistant at Marillac Health since June of 2022. Before coming to the Warrior Wellness Clinic, I worked with our Pediatrician, Dr. Rosling. In my free time I love to hike- especially if I can bring my dog along.
